DIDJ NUMBER - 111

This is another killer boom, used for hunting ground animals and can also be used for digging roots and tubers. This was also brought by the Doonooch Aboriginal Dance Troupe when they came and performed at In-Didj-In-Us a few years ago. It's kind of like an ancient Aboriginal 'Swiss Army Knife'. Pieces such as this are great when doing school presentations as it promotes a sense of connection and appreciation for a traditional culture with a tactile experience. A beautiful piece that belongs in a serious collection.
